How Can I Reduce the Cost of My PC Build?

I'm looking for some tips on how to lower the cost of my current PC build. I've compared it to a similar setup that was recently available at a local store before it sold out. I'm aiming to keep the graphics card and processing power around the same level, so any suggestions would be really helpful!

Look for Windows 11 online for about $20 instead of paying full price. Also, consider getting your NVMe drive on eBay since you can find them for around $90-120. It could really help bring down costs!

Here's a part list I put together that should help you save some cash. This setup includes a CPU, cooler, motherboard, memory, and more—all from Amazon. The total comes to about $2343.66.

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Thermalright Phantom Spirit CPU Cooler
- Gigabyte B850 Motherboard
- G.Skill Flare X5 RAM
- Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD
- PNY OC GeForce RTX 5080
- Montech XR ATX Case
- Montech Power Supply
- Windows 11 Home

Switching to Corsair Dominator or Sk Hynix Platinum P41 RAM could help you save around $100. And as mentioned earlier, don't overlook finding a cheaper graphics card option!

If you have a Micro Center nearby, check it out! They often have great deals that could save you some serious money.

You might want to consider swapping your graphics card for a less expensive model like the GeForce RTX 5080, which I've seen for around $999. It still offers great performance for the price!
