How to Tell if My SSD is Failing?

I have a KINGSTON SNV3S 1000G SSD, and I'm worried it might be dying soon. I've used it for 2106 hours, and it shows a total of 11,842 TB in host writes. Is this amount of writes too high for the time I've had it? My previous SSD, a Kingston SNV2S, died last year, and I'm concerned this might happen again. Can anyone help me understand if I should be worried?

To really assess your SSD's health, check the percentage of drive life remaining. Just looking at hours used isn't enough. If you've been using it for a while, 11,842 TB isn't bad compared to its 320TB rated lifespan. Keep in mind though, entry-level QLC drives like yours usually have lower endurance than higher-end TLC models. If you've only had it briefly and are seeing that much writing, you might want to consider why that's happening or upgrade to a more durable drive.

Seriously, what are you doing with your drives that wears them out so fast?
