I'm curious about the reliability of Aliexpress for purchasing PC components. Are there specific parts that are safe to buy there? Also, what tips can you give me to avoid scams and ensure a secure shopping experience?

It's reliable enough, but don't expect lightning-fast shipping! It can take a while, so if you're in a rush, consider looking elsewhere.
Aliexpress is kind of like the Chinese version of Amazon. I've had decent luck with them, though I'd be careful with loose parts. I bought a cheap NUC for home server use, and it turned out just fine, but I wouldn’t risk anything more delicate. Stick to well-reviewed items.
I wouldn't go for anything too pricey on Aliexpress. That said, a friend picked up a 3070 from there a couple of years ago, and it's still running strong. Just weigh the risks before you buy!
Honestly, I wouldn’t fully trust it. There are some good sellers, but it's a mixed bag. If you're not comfortable losing the money you might save, stick to more reliable sources.

Got it, thanks for the heads up!
