Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my small form factor PC that I built a few years back as a little holiday treat for myself. I'm out of the loop with the latest options and would really love some advice on what upgrades could be worthwhile. Here are my current specs:
- AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM
- Radeon RX 570
- ROG Strix B450-I motherboard
I'm open to any recommendations or suggestions you might have. Thanks so much for your help!

I’d recommend getting a matching 16 GB stick of RAM if you only have one installed right now. If you have two, consider upgrading to a 32 GB kit. They run about $80 or $150, respectively. As for the CPU, look at the 5600X or 5800XT, which cost around $150 to $180. Both are great for gaming, but the 5800XT has more cores and speed for multitasking. If you're really looking to boost your gaming, a 6900XT for about $350 to $400 would be a game-changer. All together, these upgrades would cost you around $600 to $700, and you'd have a significant performance boost.

Sounds like you’re hitting the sweet spot with pricing! I actually have the CPU, GPU, and RAM in my cart now, and it's around $719—though the RAM was a bit pricier at $200.
