I'm having some serious connection issues with my TPLINK AC1200 router. I have zero experience with routers or network troubleshooting, so I'm looking for some guidance. My router's interface is accessible at 192.168.1.1, but the model that appears there is VC220-G3u, which confuses me. My main issue is that my internet connection is really unstable. Sometimes I experience packet loss, and occasionally, the connection drops completely, though it usually comes back after a reboot. The only thing I can find in the system log are repeated messages that look like this: 'DSL_IPTV(VLAN ID 55): Next DISCOVER's time is xxx' and 'DSL_IPTV(VLAN ID 55): Send DISCOVER with request ip 0.0.0.0'. I even called my internet service provider, and they assured me everything was fine on their end. What can I do to fix this?

It looks like you're encountering issues with a DSL modem/router combo. The logs indicate problems with the IPTV service, which might be tied to your internet data issues as well. Your ISP needs to investigate this further because it could indicate a poor signal reaching the modem. It might be related to your internal wiring or something on their network that's off.

Could getting a new modem help? I know the ISP claims everything's fine on their end.
