I'm trying to find a lamp timer that allows me to set a time for the lamp to run and gradually dims the light as the timer counts down. I'd like it to start at full brightness and dim all the way down until it's almost dark when it turns off. I know there are smart bulbs and plugs that can do this through an app, but I'm specifically looking for a non-smart solution that simply plugs into the wall. Does anyone know if such a timer exists?

There's always the option of a standard timed dimmer switch. They used to work really well back in the 70s, and they still do. It might be a challenge to find that specific combo of a timer that dims, though.
You could look into something like a digital timer; I found a couple of options on Walmart and Amazon. The problem is that I haven't seen ones that also dim the light while counting down. They mostly just turn on and off.
You might want to check out mechanical timers, which are often used for outdoor lighting. They've got the timer part down, but for the dimming feature, that's a bit trickier to find.
