Help! My MSI MAG A850GL Power Supply Makes a Rattling Sound

I've been using my PC for about six months, and just today I noticed it's making a rattling sound. It was running for around 24 hours straight when I discovered the noise. I've tried shutting it down and restarting, but the sound persists. It's a faint noise, almost like a fan lightly touching something. I wish I could share a video to show you, but I'm still figuring out how to do that on this platform. Interestingly, when I tilt the PC at a certain angle, the rattling stops, but it starts again once I set it back down. Any advice on what might be causing this or how I can fix it?

If you’ve tightened the screws holding the PSU and it’s still rattling, it might be worth checking the fan itself. Sometimes dust can make the fans unbalanced and cause a rattling sound. It might also help to ensure the PSU is seated properly in the case. If you’re comfortable doing so, open the PSU (after unplugging it, of course) to see if anything is loose.

It sounds like you might have a loose screw or something rattling inside the PSU. Since you mentioned it's not coming from the PCI-E slot, it could actually be an issue with the fan or something hitting it. Have you checked inside the PSU to see if anything's out of place? Just make sure you're careful if you decide to open it up.
