Is it better to upgrade my graphics card or buy a new PC altogether?

I'm currently using a system with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700F processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, 32GB of RAM at 2667 MT/s, and a PRO B660M-A CEC WIFI DDR4 motherboard. I've noticed that newer games aren't performing well unless I set the graphics settings to low. Given my specs, should I consider upgrading just my graphics card, or is it time to invest in a completely new PC?

You might want to stick with upgrading your GPU for now. The i7-12700F is still quite capable. If you can get a higher-tier graphics card, that should give you a significant boost in performance, especially for newer games. Also, consider faster RAM, like 3200 MT/s DDR4, but the GPU should be your main focus right now.

Yeah, I agree! A more powerful GPU should definitely help with your gaming needs.

If your build had a faster CPU, I’d say just upgrade the GPU and RAM, but with the i7-12700F, it’s a tough call. However, upgrading the GPU and getting some faster RAM could get you a decent improvement. If you were on a 3070 or 4070, then I would suggest looking into a full upgrade for CPU and motherboard.
