I recently switched my boot drive from a 500GB NVME to a 1TB one on my Asus Zephyrus laptop running Windows 11 Home. After formatting the old drive, everything appeared fine until I rebooted. Now, I've noticed that most of the default Windows 11 apps like Outlook, the Microsoft Store, and the Xbox app are missing. Additionally, the Asus Armoury app, which controls my laptop's RGB settings, is also gone. My files and most of my third-party applications are intact. I haven't been downloading anything suspicious recently—just some Steam games and documents. I've run an SFC scan that showed no errors and I'm currently performing an antivirus scan. Unfortunately, I don't think I had a restore point set up. Can anyone share insights into what might have happened?

It sounds like those apps might have been installed under a specific user profile, and maybe you're logging into a different one now. Check if you have multiple user accounts on your system.
Just a heads-up, before changing any system settings or disk setup, it's always wise to back up your data first. It’s possible that the changes you made affected how Windows detects your apps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I didn’t think about that since I’ve always used the same profile linked to my Outlook account.
