I recently upgraded my CPU from an i7 3770 to an i5 10400. While I know the i7 is quite old, I expected some improvement. I have a GTX 1070 GPU, and ever since I made the switch, my GPU is running at 100% load but I'm experiencing lower FPS in games like Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Skyrim, and Thief Simulator, all at 1080p. I'm wondering if it could be related to my power supply, though the GPU typically uses about 80 watts at full load. I've done a fresh install of Windows, and temperature readings show my GPU around 75°C and CPU barely reaching 65°C. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

What games are you playing at what resolution? Sometimes the GPU can hit 100% load but still struggle to provide good FPS if it's bottlenecked by other components.

I'm mostly playing Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Skyrim, and Thief Simulator at 1080p.
