I have a 500GB SSD that's almost full, and I'm looking to move Windows to a new 1TB SSD. Most guides are way too complicated for me, using jargon I don't understand. I'd prefer not to use a USB drive since I'd have to wait weeks for one to arrive, and I'm not comfortable using third-party software for this. Is there an easy and reliable method to do this?

The clean install route is generally the safest. Just grab a small USB drive, set it up as a Windows installation tool from Microsoft’s website, and then reinstall everything on the new drive. It’s a pain, but it's stable.
Honestly, there isn't really an easy way for non-techy users to do this. I’d recommend moving any non-essential data to your 1TB drive and freeing up space on your current SSD.
I did move some less important files, but I want a solid plan before changing anything. Any resources recommended?
If you're up for it, you could use software like DiskGenius, which is free and works quite well for migrations without too much fuss. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely!
One option is to use software like Macrium Reflect or Clonezilla, but if you're avoiding third-party tools, you’re pretty limited. A fresh install on the new drive might be your best bet, although that means reinstalling all your software.
What do you mean by fresh install? Would I need to wipe everything on my system?
That sounds like a hassle – can't I just migrate everything?

So what do I exactly do with the USB? Is it just about copying the Windows files onto it?
