I'm having a really frustrating issue where I can't call my boyfriend at night. We talk every evening, but when I try to call him around 8 PM, the call either gets canceled or goes straight to voicemail like his number doesn't even exist. Even if I try a regular call, it seems to ring for a shorter time each time, and he doesn't receive any buzzing notifications. He can see the missed calls and messages when he checks his phone, but the FaceTime calls just ring until it shows he's unavailable. We've disabled sleep focus and allowed notifications to come through, but the problem started recently and it's only happening at night. I have an iPhone 12 and he has an iPhone 15. Can anyone offer some guidance?

Hey! Can you check the iOS versions of both your phones? It might help to make sure both devices are updated. Also, while face calls aren’t working, maybe try using a different app like WhatsApp or Discord for now. They might work better for you!
My iOS is 18.6.2, but I'm not sure about his. I've tried other apps too, but they also seem to be failing for some reason. It's like something's blocking notifications at night!
