I'm considering two RAM kits for my AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D build and need some guidance. The options I'm looking at are the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 RAM with a speed of 6000MT/s and a CL of 28, or the CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 DRAM also at 6000MT/s but with a CL of 30. Which one would be the better choice for my setup?

You might want to consider that both of these kits might not offer the best bang for your buck. You could likely find 6000MHz RAM with CL36 or even lower latency for a better price. Also, remember that G.Skill's Trident Z5 might not support EXPO, which is something to keep in mind. While CL30 is technically faster, the difference isn't something you'll notice day-to-day.

Both options seem good to me! The most important thing to check is whether they're compatible with your motherboard. Both RAMs should work well with the Ryzen CPU, but personally, I'd lean towards the Corsair. You won't likely notice the difference between CL28 and CL30 in real-world use, so just go with what feels right for your build.

Honestly, just pick whichever one is cheaper. Performance between them is pretty close, so it mostly comes down to price.

Isn't CL28 technically better than CL30?
