Is My Current Power Cable Enough for the MSI 5090 GPU?

I've been using a cable from Fasgear with my 4090, and it's worked fine for over a year. However, I'm wondering if it'll be sufficient for my new MSI 5090 Ventus 3x OC. I've heard that the 5090 might require more power. Do I need to upgrade to a cable with a 4-pin connector or should I consider using an octopus-style extension?

Yeah, the MSI 5090 actually needs four 8-pin connectors or must be compatible with a 12VHPWR cable on both ends. So, your current setup might not cut it.

What about something like this? I’m not sure which CableMod cables fit my power supply, but I want to ensure compatibility. My PSU is an OCZ 1200 watt, and the pin layout seemed to match the Fasgear one.
