Why won’t my new PC start up correctly?

I'm in the process of building my first PC, and I'm having an issue. The case powers up, the RAM lights are on, the fans are spinning, and the CPU cooler is illuminated. However, when I connect it to my TV, which I use as a monitor, there's no display. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

Just to clarify, does your motherboard require both an 8-pin and a 4-pin CPU power connector? If your PSU only has an 8-pin, make sure it's plugged in correctly. The 4-pin spot might need a connection depending on the motherboard model.

Have you checked if the CPU power is properly connected to the motherboard? It's easy to overlook, but that could be what's causing your PC not to boot up properly.
