Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind. My computer just completely stopped receiving power out of nowhere, and I'm not sure what to do next. I've already tried a bunch of things like replugging it, switching from my UPS to a wall outlet, replacing the power cable, and even giving it a good cleaning. Nothing seems to work. The only thing I can think of is that my power supply unit (PSU) might be broken, but I'd rather not jump to that conclusion since I'm currently short on money for a replacement. Just for your info, I've got a Seasonic 850-watt 80+ Gold fully modular PSU, and my PC was built back in December 2022. I'd really appreciate any advice on what else I can try or test before assuming the PSU is the issue. Thanks a lot!

It sounds like your PSU might be toast. Before you throw in the towel, try unplugging it and letting it sit for a few hours to fully discharge. Sometimes, that can reset it. But honestly, I'd recommend having a backup PSU lined up just in case, especially since you have a solid warranty with Seasonic. If you do think it's broken, getting an RMA could save you some headaches later on.
You might want to try the paperclip method to see if your PSU is truly dead. It’s a simple test that can help determine if the PSU is functioning. You can find plenty of how-to videos online to guide you. Just be careful while doing it!

I've looked into RMA options, but since I bought the PC with a local warranty, I'm not sure how that works. Also, do you know if the Seasonic Core PSU would be compatible with my Focus model?
