What’s the Best Way to Upgrade My Old Gaming PC for Streaming?

I've been gaming on my own built PC since I was a kid, and now I'm looking to upgrade it so I can stream or record my gameplay in good quality. Here's my current setup:
- 16 GB RAM
- Nvidia 2060 GPU
- Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
- Seasonic 550W Gold Power Supply

I'm not up to date on prices and parts anymore, so I'm a bit lost on what to upgrade first. I'm aiming for something budget-friendly, around $300 for a GPU if possible. What do you all recommend?

Just a heads up, if you're playing heavier games, your current Ryzen 5 might struggle a bit in the long run. You might want to consider an upgrade to something like a Ryzen 9 5900X or 5950X, but those will eat up your GPU budget. If you sell your current CPU and GPU, you could find used parts to fund the upgrade. If you mainly focus on upgrading the GPU, the Intel B580, Nvidia RTX 5060 8GB or AMD RX 7600 could really improve your gameplay experience.

An RTX 5060 or Intel Arc B580 could be solid choices for you! They should give you the performance boost you need without breaking the bank.

If you're near a Micro Center, definitely check it out! They often have great deals on parts and can help with advice too.

I worked with your budget, and I found that the AMD 5500 GPU might work well for you. It's been reported that their driver issues are resolved, and with 10GB of VRAM, it should last you a good while, especially at 1080p gaming.
