Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my first PC and I'm a bit stuck deciding between the 5060 Ti and the 5070 Ti. I'm aiming to have a setup that can handle gaming and software development, with good FPS in both FPS and graphically intensive games. My major components include an AMD Ryzen 7 7800 3XD, a motherboard from MSI, and an 850W PSU from MSI or Corsair, so the power supply is solid. The 5060 Ti is priced at $431, while the 5070 Ti comes in at $925. Given my slightly shaken budget from RAM prices, do you think I should stretch my budget for the 5070 Ti? I want this build to last a long time, so any advice is appreciated!

If the 5070 Ti fits into your budget after considering your other parts, then it's the way to go! Just make sure to check for good cooler and motherboard alternatives to stretch your budget further for those components too. For cooler options, something like the Phantom Spirit FE 120 is solid and won't break the bank!
If you're looking for longevity and performance, I'd recommend going for the 5070 Ti. It offers about 70% more power than the 5060 Ti, which means it will keep up with future games much better. Plus, they tend to overclock nicely, making them a solid investment. Just make sure that $925 price includes taxes because you might find it cheaper at specific stores.
Good point! Do you think I could save on any of the other components? I'm in the UAE, so suggestions for cheaper parts would help.
Honestly, if you can swing it, definitely go for the better GPU! If you're playing a lot of AAA titles, the 5070 Ti will serve you much better. If FPS games aren’t your main thing, you might get away with the 5060 Ti, but it's a gamble for the long haul.

Thanks for that suggestion! I’ll look into adjusting my cooler and motherboard choices to save some cash.
