Recommendations for Wireless HDMI Solutions

I'm looking for suggestions on how to wirelessly stream from a virtual machine to my Samsung The Frame TV, which is about 20 feet away in my dining room. Running a physical cable isn't feasible, but I do have an Ethernet cable through the wall that could be an option. I'm interested in either wireless HDMI or HDMI over Ethernet solutions. Since this will mainly be for displaying artwork and aesthetics, I'm not too concerned about latency, but I would like to maintain good picture quality. Currently, I'm using a built-in wireless streaming app on the TV, but it's not performing well. Ideally, I'd like to keep costs low while ensuring reliability. 4K at 60Hz would be great, but it's not a requirement. I've seen the IOGEAR HDMI mentioned, but at $230, it feels pricey for my needs. I've also come across the Extron DTP HDMI, but that's expensive too. Any thoughts on what I could use?

There are many options available on Amazon, but it helps to get personal recommendations. If you're considering HDMI over Ethernet, that might also be worth it considering the quality. Has anyone had experience with that?

Why not try using a Raspberry Pi? They’re super affordable and might handle your setup pretty well. A Pi Zero is really cheap, and you could probably find some accessories around your house. Just tuck it behind the TV! It can output 4K, though it’s not the best for heavy desktop use, but since you're just using it for Wallpaper Engine, it might be enough.

I thought about a Pi too! But since I want to use it for Wallpaper Engine, which can be quite demanding, I'm not sure if it will manage. I want to keep my options open for running some games or hosts. It feels like I'm going to have to experiment with a few random items on Amazon for the best fit!

Wireless HDMI can be quite expensive. If you're trying to save some cash, consider running a cable along the baseboards instead. It’s a more budget-friendly solution that will give you a stable connection without the issues of wireless transmission.
