Setting Up a PC for 10 Monitors to Display Rotating Picture Frames

I'm looking to create a setup with 10 independent monitors, each displaying different images in a slideshow format, and some might even run videos. I plan to develop software to manage the media directories for each monitor, allowing easy updates to the images. The PC will be housed in a cabinet in a large office, so using quiet components is essential. I'm considering a motherboard along with at least three graphics cards, preferably something like the GeForce 3060 or higher, and I'm aiming for professional-grade 20" displays at 1920x1080 resolution, though 2K would be a bonus. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out the Quadro P1000 or P600 GPUs. They support four Mini DisplayPorts each, which is perfect for your needs. I’ve squeezed four of them into an Optiplex setup before, and they barely use any power, produce little heat, and are super quiet. You can usually find them on eBay for about 40 bucks each!

You're right! Don't overthink it—3 of those cards will fit nicely in an 8th Gen Dell Precision Mid Tower, and you can grab them for around 300 bucks with shipping included.

Years ago, I managed to set up a system with 8 screens using two T600 GPUs. They’re really solid options for getting multiple monitors without breaking the bank.

Exactly! T600s are specifically great if you just need multiple outputs at a reasonable price.
