I've been waking up to find random long livestreams (1-10 hours) in my YouTube watch history that I definitely didn't watch. They have tons of views (over 100k), but only a few comments. I checked and only my phone is logged into my Google account after I removed access from other devices. Is it possible that my account is being hijacked for views? What steps can I take to stop this from happening?

I’ve had similar issues, usually I just let YouTube autoplay while I fall asleep, which can lead to unexpected content showing up in my history. The algorithm can go down some interesting paths when you let it run freely.
I've noticed that livestreams can pop up in your watch history if you accidentally scroll past them while watching shorts. Make sure that's not what's happening—check if you were watching any shorts before going to sleep!
You should definitely change your password and ensure you have MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) enabled. That's an important extra layer of security.
Try going to the Google Dashboard and checking the active sessions on your account. Log out all the devices except the one you're currently using, change your password, and sign back in on your devices with the new password.
It sounds like you might have background play turned on, which could mean your phone is playing videos at night even when you think it’s off. Check your YouTube settings to see if that feature is enabled.
