Can’t Wake Up My PC After PSU Replacement – Any Ideas?

I've got an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F motherboard with a Ryzen 7 5800X processor and an RX 5700 XT GPU. I recently replaced my PSU with a Superflower Leadex III 850w after my old NZXT 750 blew. Ever since the new PSU installation, my PC won't wake up from sleep, hibernate, or even when I turn off the display. The power button on the case, as well as my keyboard and mouse, don't do anything. The only way to get it to power back on is to cut the AC power at the wall and wait for the USB and RGB lights to turn off before restoring power. Right now, I'm only able to shut down or restart the system. I've tried various troubleshooting steps like a full power drain, CMOS reset, adjusting BIOS power settings, unplugging all USB devices, and even using a different external power switch. Has anyone experienced this issue with ASUS B550 boards? Do you think it's a motherboard standby or EC issue, or is there something else I might have overlooked?

I totally get your hesitation about updating the BIOS since it was working before the PSU swap. But sometimes, hardware changes can introduce weird conflicts. It sounds like it might be the firmware's fault. Just make sure to back everything up before you proceed!

Have you tried updating your BIOS firmware? Sometimes newer updates can fix power-related issues after hardware changes. It might be worth checking if there’s a more recent version that could help your issue.
