I'm new to PC building and recently picked out almost all my parts, including an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D. I saw that the website mentions this CPU doesn't come with a heatsink. I'm curious if the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360, which I've chosen as my CPU cooler, acts as the heatsink I need. Will it do the job properly? By the way, my case has four additional fans to help with airflow. Thank you!

Just to clarify, the term 'heatsink' often refers to the cooler, and in this case, the Arctic Liquid Freezer fits that description. So, you're all set. Plus, if you're building a gaming rig, you're making a solid choice with this cooler!
Yep, that cooler should do a great job. Just ensure your case has good airflow, which it sounds like it does with those four extra fans. You'll be fine!
Thanks! I'm feeling a lot more confident about this build now.
Yes, the Arctic Liquid Freezer serves as both a CPU cooler and a heatsink. You don't need to buy an additional heatsink as this cooler is designed to handle the thermal needs of your Ryzen processor just fine!

Awesome, good to know! So, I should be okay without any extra cooling?
