I recently found two of my old iPhones, an iPhone 8 and an iPhone 7, and I want to get them up and running again. The iPhone 8 is working fine, but I'm trying to reset it to factory settings, and it's asking for my Apple ID. When I enter it, it says the ID is incorrect. I've even changed my password, but I get the same error. I've tried restarting the phone and verifying my ID on my current device, but nothing seems to work. The iPhone 7 is another issue; it was stuck in a boot loop, but I managed to fix that by updating and restoring it via iTunes. However, now it's activation locked and also asking for my Apple ID. Once again, when I enter my email and password, it says they're incorrect, even though I just changed it. I've waited a few hours and restarted the device multiple times, but I'm still stuck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Hey! It sounds frustrating dealing with the Apple ID issues. Just to check, are you entering the same Apple ID that you currently use? Sometimes, the old devices might be linked to a different ID, especially if you had them a while back. You might need to remember any old email addresses you used in the past.
I would imagine not, but I might have to dig deeper to see if I can recall any previous accounts I may have used.
