I went to bed last night without any issues, but I woke up today to find that all my apps are denying me access. I can't use any of my photos or Face ID to log in. My phone didn't update overnight, and I'm currently on version 17.5.1 of iOS. I'm using a regular iPhone 14. Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do?

I feel you! A lot of people have trouble understanding the importance of updates. You really should update to at least iOS 18 for smoother performance and access to features.
For sure! It's wild how many people avoid updates until they have issues.
It sucks because if you're planning to update soon, just know that iOS 26 tends to drain the battery pretty fast, especially on an iPhone 14. I’ve kept my devices on iOS 18.6.2 for stability's sake.
That's interesting! Keeping things more stable can save you a lot of frustration.
Honestly, forced updates seem a bit suspicious to me. If you keep having issues with updates, you might want to consider switching to a different phone brand.
It sounds like it's time for an update! Staying on the latest OS is crucial, especially for security reasons. You're two versions behind, and that can definitely cause issues with app access.

Yeah, I agree! It's surprising how some just stick to outdated versions.
