I previously purchased Microsoft Office 2016 for my 2015 MacBook Air, but now I've upgraded to a 2025 M4 MacBook Air. If I uninstall it from my old machine, can I successfully install it on my new machine? Are there any potential issues I should be aware of?

Have you considered switching to LibreOffice? It's free and works well, but I understand if you're more comfortable with Microsoft Office since you're used to it.
You can install it, but be cautious. Microsoft Office 2016 is beyond its end of life, which means it no longer gets security updates. That can leave you vulnerable to viruses. Some features may also stop working properly, depending on your usage.
Have you tried transferring it yet? I wonder if it would work for you.
You can definitely give it a shot! Just keep in mind that licensing might become an issue since you typically have a single-use license for one machine at a time.
