Hey folks! I've got an ASUS B450 Gaming (AM4) motherboard paired with a Ryzen 5 2600 running at 3.6GHz and 16GB of DDR3 3200 RAM, plus an ASUS RTX 2080. I've recently ordered an ASUS Prime 9070XT and I'm contemplating whether I should also upgrade my CPU. Since I mainly play in 4K, especially games like Battlefield 6, I'm wondering if upgrading my CPU will make a significant difference, or if the graphics card is still the main limiting factor. Should I go for a CPU upgrade? Thanks for any advice!

Definitely grab a 5800X; your 2600 will hold you back quite a bit. Don’t forget to update your BIOS before making the switch!
You're likely to experience a bottleneck with your Ryzen 2600, especially at 4K. If you're looking to upgrade, the Ryzen 5800X3D is a solid choice, although it's a bit pricier. If you want to stick to the AM4 platform, you might also consider the Ryzen 5700X or 5800X as both would give you a nice boost without breaking the bank.
I just built an AM4 system with a 9070XT and found that the Ryzen 5800X hits the sweet spot. If you're gaming in native 4K, that should serve you well. You could go with something lower, but for pure performance, the 5800X is your best bet.
