I'm in need of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution that is hosted by a third party instead of being on-premises. A key challenge is that the Active Directory (AD) domain involved does not have a Microsoft 365 tenant, which means we can't use Microsoft's solutions due to the lack of an Entra ID. I'm looking for a hosted solution that will work with our AD domain and doesn't require Entra ID.

Have you thought about creating a Microsoft 365 tenant? It might open up more options for hosted solutions. Otherwise, things like CloudPC could be useful, but you might need Entra ID for those.
Amazon Workspaces is a solid option since it can link to your on-prem AD. It might just be the best fit for your situation.
Citrix has been a player in this space for a long time with their cloud connector. They might be able to offer you good support. Have you checked with them?
