Hey everyone! I'm trying to resolve an ongoing issue with the MS Teams add-in not appearing in Outlook Classic, which is showing that there are no meeting providers available. I've tried a few things already, including enabling all COM Add-ins (but couldn't find MS Teams listed), reinstalling both Microsoft 365 Apps and MS Teams, modifying the registry to create the LoadBehavior key, and even resetting my Windows OS completely. I'm using a Surface Pro 9 with an i7 processor, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage running Windows 11 Pro. I'm really at a loss here, so how have you all fixed this?

This has happened to me in my virtual desktop environment whenever Teams updates. While I'm not on my computer right now to provide a full step-by-step, here's what I typically do: Navigate to `C:Program FilesWindowsApps%TeamsFolderName%`, which varies depending on the Teams version. You'll find a file called `MicrosoftTeamsMeetingAddinInstaller.msi` there. I run the command `msiexec.exe /i "MicrosoftTeamsMeetingAddinInstaller.msi" ALLUSERS=1 /qn /norestart`. Sometimes, you might need to restart your computer after running this, but it usually resolves the add-in issue.
We set up a new on-prem Exchange Server last December and managed to deploy the Teams add-in to all clients through the Exchange Admin Center, which seemed to work well.
I've heard from colleagues that Microsoft has dropped support for Outlook Classic, which some users aren't aware of. But that doesn't help with the Teams issues you're facing.
That's true, but it doesn’t resolve the core Teams problems either. I’ve not run into any Teams add-in issues on local devices, only on virtual machines that use FSL profiles.

I had this issue about six months ago for a laptop user, and running that installer did the trick! Just give it a few hours and check back; the add-in typically shows up in Outlook after a slight delay.
