How can I create an agent that joins Microsoft Teams calls?

I'm experimenting with my Azure subscription and I'm interested in building an agent that I can invite to my Microsoft Teams calls. The idea is for this agent to help out by taking notes or capturing meeting minutes. I would like the agent to perform follow-up tasks based on specific notes, but I'm unsure how to get started with making an agent join as a participant in the meeting. Is this possible, and if so, how would I go about doing it?

Besides Copilot, you should also check out the Facilitator tool in Teams. It can enhance the experience and provide additional support during your meetings.

You might want to just turn on the recording feature and let Copilot handle the summarizing for you. It can save you a lot of hassle and is super effective!

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm looking for a fully automated solution where the summary is sent to other agents to handle tasks based on the meeting notes.

Copilot is a good choice, as it does this naturally without requiring much setup on your part. It can save you significant effort in the long run.
