I was having a fun time with my friends on an app called Azar while connected to a VPN. There were some glitches—my webcam went blank, and eventually, my PC completely froze. After a force restart, I dealt with a network connectivity problem, which I resolved by uninstalling the VPN after trying all sorts of settings. Now, even though the network issue is fixed, my webcam isn't working. The light blinks for a moment and then turns off, and while it sometimes blinks when I leave the camera app running, there's no actual video feed. I think it might be stuck in a loop because when I try to use it on Discord, I get a message saying it can't access the camera. By the way, I'm using Windows 11.

When your laptop froze, was there anything specific happening? Also, which VPN client did you use? This info could help diagnose the webcam issue better.
Is your webcam a separate peripheral or is it built into your laptop? If it's integrated into the screen, that could change how we troubleshoot it.
It's integrated into the laptop.

When it froze, the cursor wasn't moving at all. The VPN I used was ProtonVPN.
