I was using my iPhone 13 like normal when it suddenly turned off without any warning. There was no Apple logo or loading icon, just a complete shutdown. It's been about 20 minutes, and it still won't respond at all. I've tried turning it on and even doing a hard reset, but nothing works. I'm starting to wonder if it could be overheating since I was using it while it was charging. Earlier, it gave me a "charging will resume..." notification, so I took it off the charger for about 30 minutes before putting it back on. Other than that, it was fine until it turned off. I haven't updated it beyond the last update. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Have you checked to see if your phone might be running low on memory? That could potentially cause issues, but if it’s not turning on, it might not be the case. You could try freeing up some space if it ever powers back up. For now, just keep attempting the hard reboot—hold down the side and volume buttons until you see anything on the screen.
You know, I've got this theory about Apple products. My iPad Pro stopped charging completely after 18 months. It was out of warranty and fixing it was super pricey. I find it odd how these expensive devices just fail like that.
I can't help but feel suspicious, especially since I just got a notification about being eligible to trade up yesterday. It feels like a weird coincidence.
It sounds like your iPhone might have overheated while charging. You should check the battery health and see if it was in a case, as that can trap heat. Were you using an original Apple charging cable? If possible, try using a different charger or cable. I had a similar issue once when my phone overheated after being left in a hot car. I took it inside, removed the case, and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes, and it came back to life! It's worth a try to see if any of that helps you out.
I tried cooling it down like you said, but it's been over an hour now and still nothing. The weather's cold here, and it was just warm, not hot when it turned off.

That could be the issue as I was low on storage. But even with the hard reboot, it won't turn on.
