How to Force a Game to Use My RTX 4050 Instead of Integrated Graphics?

I'm running into major visual and audio glitches while playing Dead by Daylight, and it looks like the game is using my integrated Intel UHD graphics instead of my RTX 4050. I've tried optimizing the settings through the NVIDIA app, updating my drivers, and even disabling the integrated graphics in the Device Manager, but nothing seems to work. I need some help figuring out how to force the game to utilize my dedicated GPU. Does anyone know a solution?

If you're on Windows 11, you can try adjusting the graphics settings. Just go to Settings, search for "Graphics," and select the Systems > Display > Graphics page. You should see options to set a specific GPU for the game by clicking the 'Add desktop app' button to select the game's EXE file. This should allow you to choose the RTX 4050 as the default for that game.

I already tried this, but it didn't help.

Make sure that your HDMI or DisplayPort cable is plugged directly into the RTX 4050. If it's connected to the motherboard instead, that could be why the game is defaulting to the integrated graphics.
