I've recently upgraded to gigabit internet, but my PC is only showing me speeds of 100 Mbps. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting already:
- Tested a different PC using the same cable and it shows 1 Gbps on its Windows settings.
- Switched out the cables, but the speed remains the same.
- Adjusted the ethernet settings related to energy efficiency and power saving, but still no change.
- Connected the internet directly from the router instead of the wall outlet, but still the same issue.
It seems like the problem is specific to my PC. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

First, check the specifications of your motherboard and router. Sometimes, you may be using a 100 Mbps port by mistake. Since you mentioned your motherboard is ASUS B450M Dragon, it should support gigabit speeds, so this might not be the case for you. Just make sure both devices are truly gigabit-capable.
