Hey everyone, I need some guidance on an issue that's been plaguing my new setup. About a month ago, I upgraded my PC and have been experiencing random BSOD crashes ever since. Sometimes it happens while I'm gaming, but it can also occur while I'm just idling. The annoying part is that I often don't get to see the blue screen—either it doesn't show up at all, or the screen is so glitched that I can't read the error code. My temperatures are good, so overheating doesn't seem to be the culprit. I've already tried reinstalling drivers and running system scans without much luck. I'd really appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have! Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-Core
- Cooler: Corsair ICUE H150i Elite Capellix XT
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
- MB: MSI PRO B650-S WIFI ATX AM5
- PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GT 750 W
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5
- SSD: MSI M461 2TB and Samsung SSD 990 EVO Plus 2TB
- OS: Windows 10
P.S. I have a mini dump folder I can share if that helps!

So, I took a look at one of the dump files you mentioned. It seems like the error might be related to Vanguard, which is Riot's anti-cheat system—there could be a conflict with your Razer drivers. However, if you uninstalled Vanguard a while ago and your crashes continue, then it might not be the root cause. It's tricky to diagnose with just one old dump file, though, since various issues can lead to different results showing up. Keep an eye on it!
To get a better handle on these BSODs, you'll need to collect your dump files from your system. If you're able to boot into Windows normally or use Safe Mode, check out the C:WindowsMinidump folder to see if you have any dump files there. If you do, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox. Having multiple dump files is super helpful for diagnosing the issue. Follow this guide if you need help configuring your system to generate more mini dumps next time a crash happens!
I thought Vanguard was gone from my system for good, but maybe there's a lingering issue with the drivers. Thanks for the heads-up!
