I'm relocating from the US to the Netherlands and I plan to take my desktop PC with me. I'm a bit confused about the differences in power systems. Do I just need a power converter, or will I need to replace the power supply altogether? Also, can I use my existing hard drives if I end up getting a new computer over there?

You might only need to replace the power supply, but it depends on the model. If you can share a picture of the label on your current power supply, that would help us give better advice!
Most power supplies nowadays handle both 110V and 220V. Some even have a switch for this, while others do it automatically. Check for a label on the unit to confirm. If your current PSU only runs on 110V, you can either swap it out for a dual-voltage one or buy a cheap 220V to 110V transformer at a hardware store. Just be sure you double-check the specs!
You'll need either a new power cable or an adapter to convert your US plug to the EU type (schuko). Look for cables labeled as IEC C13, which are common for computer power supplies. If it’s modern, your PSU probably supports a wide voltage range, like 100-250V, so just check for that info on a sticker. If it's an older model, you might have to flip a switch to change the voltage. Hope that helps!
Absolutely, just make sure your power supply can handle it. It's straightforward once you get the right cables!
