What could be causing a crackling noise from my new PC?

I recently got a new PC, and while it's been running smoothly, I've noticed an occasional crackling noise. It can be random; sometimes it disappears, and then it comes back again. I've checked the fans, so I don't think that's the issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

It’s possible that the fans could still be the culprit. For instance, my GPU fans tend to make a crackling sound at certain speeds but are quiet at both lower and higher settings. Try monitoring their speeds and see if that matches your issue.

Crackling noises can sometimes come from loose cables, so it’s a good idea to check if all the cables are securely connected. If everything looks good, it could just be your components settling in as they warm up or cool down.

I had a similar issue, and checking the cables really helped! Since you posted about the noise, has it stopped for you?
