I just got a new SSD and installed a fresh operating system on it, but I still have the old OS on my hard drive that I want to get rid of. I know it's not the best situation, but I'm looking to reclaim that space without losing the ability to use the hard drive for work. What's the simplest or fastest way to wipe the OS off the hard drive?

You can right-click on the drive in your file explorer and select 'Format.' It’s a quick process, and if you choose the 'Quick Format' option, you’ll have your drive ready in no time. Just don’t forget about that coffee break while it does its thing!
The simplest way to get rid of the old OS is to just reformat the hard drive. This will free up space, and you can either use it for backups or even install a different OS if you ever need one. Just remember to back up any important files first!

Haha, if you go for a quick format, you'll probably be back before the coffee's brewed!
