I'm in the process of putting together a new gaming PC, and I'd love to get some feedback on my chosen components. Here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4F4pg3.
I've already purchased some of the parts, but I'm still deciding on a few key components. I was considering the Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB video card, but I noticed it doesn't support G-Sync. That's led me to look at the Asus DUAL OC GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB video card, which I believe does support G-Sync since there are no warnings about it on PCPartPicker. Is it a bad idea to pick what seems like a less powerful card just to have G-Sync?
Moreover, I have a 1000 watt power supply, but the estimated watt requirement for my setup is only about 426 watts. I've heard it's good to have some extra wattage, but is 1000 watts overkill?
Lastly, I'm eyeing the Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 memory. Is this a sensible choice? I've heard higher memory is essential for graphic design but less so for gaming. I'm not on a strict budget, but I'd prefer to get good value for my money. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Focus on your monitor compatibility; if it supports FreeSync, you might not need G-Sync at all. The RX 9060 XT will give you better performance with 16GB of VRAM. Your PSU doesn’t need to be 1000W; 750W is plenty for your build. And about those memory specs? They’re good for gaming—you won’t regret getting that extra RAM!
Yeah, definitely stick with that RAM! You’ll want it for future-proofing.
You might be sacrificing VRAM if you go for the RTX 5060. I'd recommend sticking with the RX 9060 XT; you'll get double the VRAM, which is a huge advantage in the long run. As for the power supply, 750W should be more than enough for your setup. There's no need to overspend on a 1000W PSU. And yes, that RAM you’re considering is solid for gaming right now!
Don't sweat G-Sync too much; most modern monitors have FreeSync, which is just as good. Stick with the RX 9060 XT for the extra VRAM. For the power supply, you only really need about 750W for your setup, and adding a few case fans could improve airflow—trust me, I've done builds like that!
If you can get the RX 9060 XT, that’s a better way to go. You're right about the PSU—750W should be your target. The RAM looks good too; it's decent for gaming without being over the top. If your case has good airflow, you should be just fine, so maybe consider adding some more fans if you go for a high-performance setup.
Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely look into adding some fans.
Good call! More fans are always a win for cooling.

Thanks for confirming that! I was worried about whether I was overspending.
