Why can’t I convert my hard drive from MBR to GPT?

Hey everyone, I'm having a really tough time trying to convert my hard drive to GPT. I've gone through multiple full resets and fresh installations, but it just isn't working. I keep getting a disk validation error that says: "First partition too close to the beginning of the disk." I've gathered some logs and detailed my disk setup, and I found that my main partition and system partition are the same, which might be the problem. I'm trying to install Windows 11 since Windows 10 is losing support, but I can't use secure boot because my drive needs to be GPT first. I'm not too concerned about data loss; I've wiped this PC clean and just want to get Windows 11 up and running. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like the tool is having issues because your main and system partitions are intertwined, which is not typical. Usually, you'd have a smaller system partition for boot files when transitioning from MBR to GPT. This could be what's causing the validation error you're seeing. Have you tried checking your BIOS settings or reconfiguring your disk partitions? Sometimes resetting them completely can help.

I see what you mean! I can't remember if I did something unusual while setting it up initially, but it seems like it might need a fresh approach. I'll look into redoing the partitions. Thanks for the insight!
