Hey everyone! A friend of mine needs some help with a gaming PC build. His dad has a budget of around 1800€ and they're looking to play mainly racing games, Farming Simulator, and potentially Battlefield 6 in 4K in the near future. So far, we've put together a build that can be found on PCPartPicker, and I want to know if anyone has suggestions for adjustments or improvements. Here's the breakdown of the current components:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D 6-Core
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7
- **Memory**: Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (DDR5)
- **Storage**: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 1 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
- **Case**: Thermaltake View 380 ARGB ATX
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL 850 W 80+ Gold
The total comes out to about 1956€ before some discounts, but the CPU, motherboard, and RAM are part of a combo deal for 700€, bringing it down to around 1838.83€. Any thoughts or advice on this build?

I think you could save a bit by switching to a cheaper SSD that still offers great performance. Also, consider a different case with pre-installed fans, which might help with cooling and save you a few bucks. And I spotted a slightly cheaper graphics card too that could work just as well. Overall, your build looks solid!
If you're aiming for BF6, it might be worth looking at a better CPU. The Ryzen 5 7500X3D is good, but for demanding games like that, a higher-end CPU might make a difference in performance. It sounds like your friend is hesitant about BF6, so check with him if that's still on the table.
