Hey everyone! I recently received a complete gaming build as a gift, but I'm not very knowledgeable about computers, and my friend who gave it to me isn't either. They mentioned that they had to replace the RAM once, but I'm wondering if there might be other outdated components. I'm mainly planning to use this PC for gaming and graphic design, but I've been told that some games, like Fortnite, aren't running anymore. Here are the specifications of the build:
- **Monitor**: MSI G2422P 24" IPS 1080p 170Hz
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5-12400F
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
- **Memory**: 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 Mhz
- **Storage**: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
- **Motherboard**: B760
- **Cooler**: NZXT T120 RGB
- **Power Supply**: High Power SFX 650W Gold
- **Software**: Windows 11 Home
I'd appreciate any advice on potential upgrades or fixes!

Definitely try reinstalling Windows to clear out any stubborn bugs. Fortnite did transition to Unreal Engine 5, which might require some updates, but your computer should handle it well. Just make sure your drivers are up to date after the reinstall!
It sounds like your setup should still run Fortnite just fine. Sometimes, it's a good idea to start with a clean slate. Try reinstalling Windows—this can fix a lot of performance issues. Also, consider cleaning the inside of the PC with some compressed air; if you're not familiar with maintenance, it might be dusty in there!
Bet, tysm!

Will try it out! Thanks sm!
