I misplaced the USB dongle for my unbranded 2.4GHz keyboard and am wondering if I can pair it with a spare 2.4GHz dongle I have from a different keyboard. I'm looking for advice on a few things: 1. Is there a universal pairing software that works with unbranded devices? 2. Are there common key combinations (like ESC+Q or ESC+K) often used by Chinese manufacturers for pairing? 3. If the brands are different, can I expect any technical issues due to proprietary protocols? I've already tried some key combinations without luck, so any insights would be greatly appreciated!

If you're really in a pinch, remember that wired keyboards are quite affordable these days. It might be simpler just to switch to one of those for now.
Unfortunately, it seems like you're probably better off getting a new keyboard. The only brand I've seen that offers a universal adapter is Logitech, but even they have started releasing cheaper models that don’t allow you to replace the dongle.
I hear you, that's super frustrating!

Yeah, it's a bummer. I used to think they were reliable, but now even Logitech's cheaper options have that same problem.
