Help! My PC Keeps Randomly Restarting After I Built It

Hi everyone! I'm new here and I've run into a frustrating issue: since building my PC, it keeps randomly restarting. I get a bunch of critical errors, including Kernel-Power event ID 41 and sometimes a WHEA uncorrectable error. I've checked the Event Viewer but couldn't figure out which component is causing this. I've already updated my BIOS and drivers, and I'm not overclocking anything. I'm running two Gigabyte 3070 GPUs on a 1000W gold PSU, but I removed one to see if it's a power issue. My remaining GPU has temperatures between 40-70°C, which seems fine. Interestingly, the crashes don't seem load-related; my PC can handle heavy gaming for hours without a problem, but it crashes while I'm just watching YouTube. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be really appreciated!

First, can you share your full system specs? It could help in diagnosing your issue. Knowing what you have can point to possible conflicts or problems.

Sure! Here are my specs: MasterLiquid ML240L v2 cooler, i9 11900K CPU, 32GB (2x16GB DDR4) RAM, Gigabyte Z590 AORUS motherboard, 1TB SSD (plus a 3TB external storage drive), and a 1000W gold PSU.

Have you tried running memtest86 or the Windows memory diagnostic tool? If your RAM passes those tests, you might want to run some OCCT tests. It could also help to replicate the crashes with stress tests to identify if it's a specific hardware issue; then you can start swapping hardware components like the GPU, PSU, CPU, or RAM to see if that helps reduce the crashes.

I actually did both tests, but they came back clear. I’m swapping out my GPU now since the crashes aren’t linked to heavy load; everything seems fine temperature-wise. I noticed my VGA cables were plugged into different slots, so I’m trying just one GPU in the first slot now.
