I'm looking for recommendations on inventory management software specifically for tracking tech items like laptops, docking stations, monitors, and mobile phones. How do you all tag these items? Also, does your software have the ability to monitor installed applications and their versions on laptops? Any insights would be appreciated!

A popular choice is Snipe-it. It’s well-reviewed and easy to use for tracking various tech gadgets. We’ve been using it ourselves with no complaints!

Have you considered PDQ Inventory/Deploy? They also have PDQ Connect, which is quite handy.

You might want to give GLPI a try. It’s another solid option for managing inventory.

This type of question pops up a lot, huh? But I totally get where you're coming from. It's always good to know what’s current! If you’re searching for something that fits your needs right now, personal experiences are more helpful than old threads.
