Hey folks! I usually see my CPU temperatures around 47-52 degrees when it's idle. However, today after I rebooted, I noticed that my idle temps jumped to 56 degrees and have even spiked to 67 and 72 degrees. Is this something to be concerned about? For context, I have PBO2 tuning set with parameters of -30 across the board and a max of 110, 75, and 140. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and my GPU temps are stable. Should I be worried?

It sounds like something might be running in the background or there could have been a Windows update. Those tend to cause fluctuations in temperature. You might want to check your task manager to see if any processes are using a lot of CPU.
Idle temps aren't the most important metric; you should really look at what your temps are under load. You mentioned they go up to around 62-70 degrees, depending on the game, which sounds pretty normal. Just keep an eye on it to avoid hitting thermal throttling!

Yeah, I usually hit about 65 degrees during gaming too so that seems fine.
