Help Me Improve My $1000 Gaming PC Build!

I'm looking to build a new gaming PC on a budget of $1,000, even though I know it's a tough time for hardware right now. My goal is to achieve decent performance, aiming for around 1080p at 30fps on the latest games. I'm considering picking up some components used to save costs, particularly a GPU around the $300 mark, unless I decide to stretch my budget for the RTX 5060 Ti.

Here are my potential builds:
1. Intel build with the Core Ultra 5 245KF and B860 motherboard. You can check the parts list here: [Intel Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sZVXH3)
2. AMD build featuring the Ryzen 5 7600X with a B650 motherboard. Parts list here: [AMD Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nrKLDw)

I have a few specific questions:
* I'm thinking about using the budget H810 motherboard to save another $40 on the Intel build, but I'm unsure since I might need a USB controller or a 10Gbe NIC in the future.
* Is the 245KF a good choice for around $180, or is there a better option?
* For used GPUs, which one gives the best performance for about $300?
* Any other recommendations or value options I might have overlooked?

I wouldn't recommend going for the H810 motherboard; it's best to stick with the B860 for better future-proofing and performance. When you're ready to upgrade your RAM, replace the whole kit instead of trying to mix it with your old one. Also, steer clear of the 5060 Ti—it's not worth it. If you're looking for alternatives, I put together a solid AMD build that could outperform your original plan. Check it out [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Mpgyfp). It falls just over your budget but offers better components for the price.

I actually found a 5060 Ti 8GB on sale for about $300. Given its performance, it could be a good option if you're working within that budget. Many say it outperforms older models like the 3070 too, especially when factoring in AI enhancements, so it's tempting for a gaming rig!

Quick question, what region are you shopping in? If you're near a Micro Center, it's worth checking out their deals. Otherwise, Newegg regularly has combo deals that can help you save money. For example, here’s a link to a combo builder that might help you find a good deal: [Newegg Combo Builder](https://www.newegg.com/tools/combo-builder/6675).
