Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an AMD Radeon 5500 XT. I'm wondering what CPU and GPU combination could help me run these games at better graphics settings and overall performance.

If you're looking to upgrade, the Ryzen 7 5700X3D would be a solid choice. Pair it with the best GPU you can afford to really boost those graphics settings.
The 5800X3D is known for its gaming performance. It might be hard to find since it hasn't been sold in a while, but if you can snag a 5700X3D, that’s also a great option!
What about getting an RX 7800 XT? Is that a good match?
