I recently upgraded to a new version of Windows, and I'm facing a frustrating issue where my mouse buttons stop responding about 10 seconds after logging in. I can still move the cursor and use the scroll wheel, but that's it! This forces me to rely on my keyboard to navigate my computer. What should I try to fix this?

This could be a driver issue. Try plugging the mouse into a different USB port and see if that helps. You can also check Device Manager to reinstall your mouse drivers.
You could try just getting a new USB mouse. They're pretty cheap and easy to find. If that solves the issue, great! Otherwise, you might need to dig a bit deeper.
It sounds like you're having a pretty typical issue. First, have you tried unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in? Also, a quick restart can sometimes help. If it's wireless, check if there's any Bluetooth trouble. The more details you share, the better we can help you out!
I found out that my mouse problem happens when I open specific apps like WhatsApp or Medal. Maybe that’s related to your issue too? It might be a software conflict.
