I'm considering upgrading my video card and I'm not sure if it's a worthwhile investment. Currently, I have a Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and I'm looking to switch to a Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, or potentially something similar that would fit the capabilities of my other components.
I built my PC about three years ago and have taken good care of it. The GTX 1060 was a used gift that I knew would become outdated pretty quickly, which is why I focused on building up the rest of the system. Lately, newer games just haven't been performing well, and I think upgrading the graphics card is the best move right now, especially given the current prices for components. You just missed the sale on the 9060XT for $249.99 by a day... that's unfortunate!
You might want to check out the 9060XT 16GB instead. It's a cheaper option with similar performance, plus it has PCIE X16 which is better than X8.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm watching some reviews and honestly, the differences seem pretty minor. The shipping time is about the same too, just two weeks!
Absolutely consider the 9060XT; I think it's a great choice. Just stick with AM4, as anything beyond that might be overkill for your setup.

Haha, typical for me! I planned to post this yesterday but ended up proofreading too long.
